Mentoring and Final Evaluation

This final module focuses on developing participants’ individual coaching competencies through practical coaching exercises and mentor coaching, aimed at strengthening their skills within the ICF Core Competencies framework.

Receiving mentoring to obtain an ICF credential involves a collaborative coaching and feedback process—appreciative and dialogical—based on a live or recorded coaching session, with the goal of enhancing the coach’s capacity in alignment with ICF Core Competencies.

Mentoring must take place over an extended period (minimum three months), following a cycle that allows space for listening, feedback from the mentor coach, reflection, and practice by the mentee.

As part of the accreditation process, applicants must pass a Performance Evaluation in which their coaching will be assessed against the ICF Core Competencies.
